ClaudineJan 30, 2022As usual it was a very interesting tour where I learnt a lot about the history of London. I can only recommend it. Thank you to Ian.
MarilynOct 4, 2021Fascinating insights into the guilds and the lives of Medieval Londoners in the heart of the city, with observations about architecture, life-style and infra-structure. Most enjoyable.
CarolOct 2, 2021I have been on several of Ian’s tours and each has been a delight. I can highly recommend the medieval London one, it is so easy to just go in circles in the city, trailing around busy roads and dull modern buildings. This tour shows you exactly where to find the gems plus a fascinating introduction to medieval London. Not to be missed.
ShirleyOct 2, 2021An enjoyable and informative walk – an easy walking route suitable for all abilities . I love finding out the history of our wonderful city and a fun way to spend 90 mins . The meeting point outside Cannon St station is easy to find and the finish point at St Pauls is perfect for post walk lunch spots.
BettinaAug 12, 2021We had a somewhat rainy but very enjoyable Mediaeval London walk yesterday afternoon. Our guide Ian was friendly and a font of information. A bit too much about the guilds and buildings for my liking, and less about the daily life of the Londoners back then – although I have a good idea about their toilet habits now. I will definitely join other walks of this company but for me personally a few more anecdotes and a bit less pure information would be more enjoyable. Thank you very much to Ian for the lovely walk!
RobertAug 1, 2021Hard tour in some ways as there is little to see. Lots to say which was very enjoyable. At the end you will see hints of medieval times everywhere. Thanks for an interesting afternoon.
