MargaretSecrets of St James’ was a very interesting walk. The meeting point was easy to find and we were all welcomed, even a small dog. Our guide was very well-informed and prepared, with images of the former residents of the area to bring the past to life. So much happened within a small area, with scandals and excitement within beautiful buildings. The time passed very quickly and enjoyably.

We started at Green Park and went all the way towards St James’s Park and Pall Pall passing on the way some amazing places – Spencer House, St James’s Palace, Jermyn Street and so on learning on the way about royals past and present, high society scandals, new facts about well known historic figures. Our excellent guide Mark was so welcoming, polite and professional- he made sure everyone was included, answered all the questions and had a great sense of humour. We did not notice how time passed!
